David Rushen has lectured professionally for more than 15 years. For many years he studied entomology, mainly in the field of butterflies and moths.
approximately 20 years ago, he co-founded the Living World,a tourist attraction with many weird and wonderful creatures from around the world, which included marine life to mantids and reptiles.
A comprehensive schools programme was set up and many thousands of children have been taught both at the Exhibition and in the field.
David has appeared many times on television and over the years has been a contributor to radio programmes on natural history. In 1989 he first started lecturing for Cunard and over the next few years, spoke on natural history on all the big Cunarders. For the last 6 years, he has regularly lectured for P&O.
